Love seems to be the theme that penetrates all aspects of our society. For starters, most popular songs are love songs. Then there's the romance plots and subplots that creep their way into most movies and television. It is all encompassing, all consuming, yet often misguided. There's no certainty to whether it is real or not - only time can tell.
Everyone handles it differently. That's a given. But it usually takes you completely by surprise. Do you hang on to it or let it go? You're still learning. Everything that they do is taken as a positive sign. Anything could be possible.
There are times when you just need to take hold. When the path you're taking doesn't extend any further, it benefits no-one. But not to say that following that path was necessarily a waste of time. You come away all the wiser for doing so.
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful and endures through every circumstance.
